About Kara

Kara Adams is a Licensed Clinical Massage and Bodywork Therapist and Holistic Esthetician with certifications in Natural Skincare Product Formulation, Herbalism, Healing Touch, and Wellness Coaching. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, she was called to the path of Holistic Wellness. Working hands on with clients with a variety of conditions has inspired her to develop herbal formulations that could not only be effective, but also nourish the Body, Mind, and Soul. Kara specializes in lifestyle detoxification, has a passion for women's health and fertility support, and is the Founder and CEO of Ardor Grove Botanicals, a holistic wellness business born out of the desire to provide better options for those who have made the commitment to care for themselves and their communities.

Our Philosophy

Ardor Grove Botanicals was born out of the desire to do better for those who have made a commitment to caring for themselves. Creating self care blends that inspire an abundance of self love is our passion. At Ardor Grove, we believe clean beauty comes with a clean conscience. We are committed to using only the highest quality herbs, spices, oils, and minerals. We vow to never prioritize profit over people and planet, and would never put our name on anything that we don’t believe to be of the highest standard. We have personal experience with what it means to take our wellbeing into our own hands, and we would like to share some of that life changing magic with you. 

Access to self care should be simple and enjoyable. We work diligently to provide a variety of high quality, all natural, handcrafted botanical blends. Our intention is to provide everything needed for those who wish to include us in their self care journey. 

Ardor Grove’s speciality is our all natural, custom herbal formulations. All of our unique blends are handcrafted in small batches, with great care to ensure only the highest quality end product reaches you.  

Nothing goes into our products that does not add to their efficacy. Because of this you will never see us using any fillers, silicones, parabans, or artificial dyes and fragrances in our products.

Our products are made with locally sourced, organic ingredients whenever possible. 

All of our ingredients are cultivated with the intention of being used in this way, to ensure their efficacy and your safety. 

We never use ingredients that are harmful to you or the environment and do not support the irresponsible harvesting of wild plants. 

Our glass containers have minimal plastic parts and we encourage you to wash your empty containers to reuse at home. 

When your order is ready to ship, we protect your order with recycled paper shreds and small amounts of ecobubble wrap. 

Our information cards, packing slips and thank you cards are all made from recycled paper. 

We ship all your items together to reduce our carbon footprint.
